These small group events help you to expand your knowledge, develop your practice, or indulge in some of the beautiful, more relaxing aspects of yoga. Many workshops and/or retreats are created & scheduled on student request. Because these gathering as no bigger than 6 students, they often sell-out before they are posted here.

Sun Salutations: A Deep dive

Contained within the sun salutations are the components of the entire practice. We will explore the physical technique of Sun Salutation A & B, including modifications and progressions. We will also work on the strength and connections needed for jumping forward and jumping back, no matter what your practice level.

Within themselves, Sun Salutations are a full practice. Or they provide the basis for the rest of your practice. Come with questions…and be ready to work hard during this workshop. 


Yoga Nidra: Stretch, Relax & Indulge

Yoga Nidra is a powerful, guided meditation and conscious relaxation practice that offers total physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Through this practice, you will reduce stress & anxiety and foster a sense of peace, calm and clarity. It is said that an hour of Yoga Nidra is as restorative as several hours of sleep. (….and pssst. Everyone loves it!!) 

This session will begin with a little light stretching before moving into the Yoga Nidra Meditation. All levels welcome. No previous yoga experience required. 




Yoga On & Off the Mat: taking your weekly class into your daily life….

Have you wanted to add a bit of your yoga practice into your every day? However, does the idea of a yogi life feel a bit daunting?…and maybe just a bit strange? It needed be. Study after study have shown the massive benefits of the yogic practices of physical asana, breath work and meditation. These include: stress reduction, improved health, stronger parenting and relationship connections, increased work productivity and connection with creativity.

In this workshop, we will explore several different ways of approaching these practices and how to incorporate them into your daily life. This is about creating small practices: 5-15 minute practices and even shorter ‘pause’ moments that slot into the things you already do…every day. 

We will also explore a little bit of the scientific physiology behind these practices and several of the core teachings of yogic philosophy. I will share what I do in my personal practice…and why.
